Default Advice - Jewel of Seas versus Celebrity Millenium Class

I am a frequent cruiser with Celebrity but have never been on RCCL. Can anyone tell me what differences I might expect between one of the larger Celebrity ships and the Jewel of the Seas? We are booked in March.

I think you'll find Jewel to be very simular to any Celebrity Milli class in size and layout. I do love the Celebrity deck off the buffett where you can eat, thats really nice.

Jewel of the Seas is truly a jewel, you can enjoy a dinner at chops after playing a game of pool :-) I liked the entertainment a lot better on Royal Caribbean and it was a little more casual atmosphere too.

I think you will certainly enjoy Jewel, may-be more than Celebrity, you'll have to be the judge of that, have fun!

Thanks for the info. One of the reasons we chose that ship is that it did seem more 'Celebrity-like' than some of their other classes of ships. I am looking forward to it - Celebrity is a little lame on entertainment so that should be something we will enjoy on the Jewel.

"Celebrity-like" is a very good description of the JW and her sisters
