Celebrity Vet Questions for the Explorer if the Seas

Deb and I have sailed Celebrity Cruises for the last 7 years. We have sailed the Millie Class ships multiple times plus the Century Class. Overall, we enjoyed the Celebrity ships BUT time for a change . We just returned from our second time on the Constellation.

We are thinking about booking the 12 night cruise aboard the EOS sailing Jan 2009. It departs out of New Jersey. We have sailed RCI only once about 8 years ago (Monarch of the Seas). Any info that the wonderful cruisers here can give us about the Explorer of the Seas would be greatly appreciated.

1. How is embark and debark in New Jersey (Cape Liberty?)?
2. Quality of entertainment?
3. Average age group?
4. Food quality?
5. Condition of the ship?
6. CASINO ? Our game of chance is Video Poker Machines. Do they have the video poker machines? Celebrity Millie Class Ships had about 15 video poker machines.

Any and all info about the EOS would be greatly appreciated.

My wife and I were on Explorer in 2006. You can go to RCCL site and look up the Explorer and it may tell you the last time it was refurbished. Most ships got upgraded linens, and things last year. The entertainment and food was great. We saw the Blues Brothers review from Las Vegas, we also saw a mini Cirque D Soliel show, the food was great everynight. I don't gamble so I can't answer you question about video poker, I can't imagine the ship not having those machines. The ship was clean from stem to stern.
