Default Debarking ship and flight schedules

When debarking the ship

1) are there cabs to take you to the airport? if yes, how long is the wait for an available cab?

2) based on how long it takes to debark assuming you will be carrying your bags rather than setting them out side of your door etc...what is the earliest flight one should schedule and still not sweat getting to the airport on time.

Cabs are lined up and ready to whisk you away..What airport are you flying out of? If it's Fort lauderdale, you are ten minutes away. I would book an 11:00 flight at the earliest..Sometimes customs can the delay disembarkation, But I have had flights at that time, with no issues...

I haven't selected an airport yet...still re scooping from the cost to fly from AZ to Miami....I have been looking at Miami international...which I thought was about 15 minutes away...so are you telling me that Ft Laud is an equal distance????

also..so what hotel is good to stay at the night before...I understand Intercontinental is good (priceline),,,but how about Holiday Inn at Basside????

The airport in Miami is more like 20 minutes to 30 minutes away, while in Ft. Lauderdale, only a 10 to 15 minute drive. The airport and pier are actually right next to each other in Ft. Lauderdale, just a matter of going around, traffic, etc. to get there.

Default Flight Schedules

I had booked a 10:00 flight out of FLL in March and based on comments from Kuki and others I moved it back to 11:00 am.

Kuki said if I could make the 10:00 then I should buy a lottery ticket

we are going out of the Port of Miami...so it sounds like I should stick to the Miami airport for timing purposes
