Default Picture Package

When we were on the Disney cruise in 2004 they had a picture package that you could purchase. It made the cost for each picture much lower. Does Royal Caribbean have anything like this?

absolutely not! They are extremely over priced! $20 for EACH 8'10 and $15 for most 5'7s... your dinner photos are 5'7 but are priced $20!

If you buy four 8'10s you get a "free" photo book frame with the ships picture in it.

They are extremely over priced and ridiculous!

Default Picture Package

Yes they are a bit expensive, but it depends on what pictures you are looking for. If your interested in a (semi) professional photo of your family in dress-up gear, you'll never find a professional photographer who will do one for $19.95 for an 8x10. I recently returned from SOS with a group of three other ladies. We purchased the pictures we wished and then I scanned them into my computer and printed copies of them out on high quality photo paper. Can't tell the difference. Note that any repro shop (Walgreens, Walmart, etc.) won't allow you to reproduce them on their equipment when they see that they are from a cruise ship.

I agree that the wandering photographers are a bit too much; but you can get some beautiful memories of your cruise.

yes maybe they are expensive but I agree with maduck if I go to my local photograher and have a professional 8X10 done I'm sure it would be at least $20. I bet even more then that.

And I do go to walmart to scan the photos but I have to be VERY careful because if the girl sees me scaning cruise photos she stops you. I have a friend come with me so my friend can distract her while I quickly scan the photos.

I have asked the photo people of RCCL if I can have a photo release statement but they won't do it.

I use the photos each year for christmas cards.

Pictures aboard ship are expensive, but I don't regret spendng the money for the memories.
