Hey CruiseQueen....I know what you mean! We definitely need to steer clear of the ships that Norm are going to be on....we sure wouldn't want to offend him in the dining room with our kids because my boys will be right there with yours without their jackets on....shame on them!

The only indication I could find on the www.royalcaribbean.com site is this:

"What do I need to bring?

.... You should also bring some formal wear for formal occasions. Cocktail dresses for women, suit and ties or tuxedos for men. You can arrange to rent a tuxedo onboard, if you prefer. "

Note the use of "men" and "women"....nothing indicated for the "boys" or "girls", so I think my 10yr old will be fine in dress pants and a shirt. Probably can't pull off the tie, he's never worn one. My 13yr old daughter will be happy to sport her "cocktail dress"...heck, maybe they will even SERVE her a cocktail if she's so dressed up.

The dress code I saw enforced (sometimes) was no shorts or jeans.

Hey Ally....I got a good laugh out of your post! Our girls will definitely have to wear their "cocktail dresses" together! And I will have to agree with you on the tie issue too...like i have said before...they always look presentable in the dining room but a tie???? can't see it! We are there to have fun not to impress!!!
