Space Shuttle

Were any ships docked in Ft. Lauderdale or in the Bahamas able to see any traces of the shuttle launch a couple of weeks ago? Also the shuttle came in directly over Cozumel on it's landing approach. Was anything visible on the launch or the landing from the ships?
