Default Tell me what we're in for!

We finally booked a cruise through the Panama Canal this week. It leaves 3/24 from Miami, on Brilliance of the Sea. My husband and I can take a trip with fairly short notice. Initially I was so excited, however, now I'm worried that there's something negative about the ship or this 11 day cruise. I've seen it advertised on all of the Last minute vacation websites; Travelocity, etc. We booked it through Royal Caribbean.

I would appreciate any information any of you can provide. Thanks.

Default Brilliance of the Seas

You will love the Brilliance. We have sailed on this ship three times, and one was Panama Canal cruise.

Default Looking for trouble

you can probably find it.
It will be hard, since you are on Brilliance and you are a spectacular itinerary, but dig deep and something might pop up.

Seriously, you have hit a home run!

Enjoy! Be ready to get up before dawn on your canal day, don't hide in your balcony, if you have one, get up on deck!

Remember the canal is 100 years old and the engineering used to first operate the canal is the exact same engineering used today, except the "mules" are mechanical versus the old ones iwth a tail and four legs!!

Bon Voyage!!!!!!!!

We did the Panama(Eastbound) in 06 on HAL . If there is a guest speaker talking about the canal before you exactly enter canal don't miss it.
The speaker has alot of info. The comment about 4 legged mules , the Panama canal has never used animals. They where always electric , they currently are on phase 3 vesions.

Have a good trip thru the Canal.

Hello,

We did Brilliance of the Seas in 2007 the Panama Canal cruise and had a great time. It is a beautiful ship. We went at the end of March.

What I meant to say was that we have been on Brilliance three times, and one was a Panama Canal cruise. We love all the Radiance class ships (Radiance, Brilliance, Jewel, Serenade), and can't imagine why you wouldn't like this ship.

It's just the right size, lots and lots of glass, nice artwork, etc. Just go and have a great time. We will be on a sister ship in just a few days.
