Default Explorer of the Seas Dry Docked

Hello All,
I just found out from my TA that Explorer will be dry docked from 1/3/10 thru 1/14/10. I had wanted to book that week, oh well, I will just have to pick another week. It's worth the wait. She is a beautiful ship, I just came off of her on 2/3/08 and had a blast. I loved the 12 day itinerary (oops, spelling).

What was she dry docked for? Routine maintance or refurbish?

From what I've read on the board this evening, she's in need of some TLC....

We sail her in July of this year and we can't wait!

Hello fellowcruisers,

Yes, we are excited as well. We will be taking Explorer of the Seas this November.

We happened to see her in Puerto Rico this month. Wow, what a big ship she is...

To Joecat890: DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT skip spending time on the promenade! The coffe shop is our favorite place to hang out, have a cup of coffee and a cookie, people watch, and listen to the steel drum band when they're playing. Oh, and if you're in the casino and play the slot machines, let me know if you find the $40.00 I lost there
