We are going on a cruise in April to the Panama Canal, stopping off at Columbia and Costa Rica. We have been advised by our Health Advisor that we will not need to get the Yellow Fever vaccination if we are NOT leaving the ship whilst docked at Columbia.
If we don't get off the ship in Columbia, can we still leave the ship in Costa Rica even though we haven't had the vaccination? Costa Rica requires a yellow fever certificate if Columbia has been visited before hand - Are we classed as visiting Columbia or not as we haven't been off the ship?
Or, is it compulsory to have the yellow fever certifcate to board the ship anyway?
We have emailed Royal Caribbean but have had no response and we are getting a little concerned now as the holiday is fast approaching.
