Default Pics taken from the Aker shipyard today

I don't know when the exact date of this new ship is, but she's a beauty!

That would be the newest Frredom Class ship from RCI, the "Independence of the Seas". I believe RCI just took delivery of her or will do so shortly.

It almost looked like from the pics that today was the float out?? Ship looks almost done, at least from the outside. From what I've read the ship has yet to be named...[/i]

That is definitely independence of the seas. RCCL took delivery a few days ago. "Genesis" is not even close to float out yet. Still a long way from that. Currently in dry dock.

These are some great ports for the summer on the Independence!

14 nite cruises with stops at Gibraltar, Barcelona, Malaga, Vigo and Seville, Spain; Nice and Cannes, France; Florence/Pisa and Sardinia, Italy; and Lisbon, Portugal.

Independence is the only Freedom Class ship that will have heated pools.
