Default Aft Cabins Explorer of the Seas

Looking for info on aft cabins on Explorer especially 8690 and 8692. I have a choice to make and would like to hear from anyone who has had them before. Which has more balconey space?
Thanks All

On "Webshots", there is a perfect shot of the rear of the "Explorer" taken from another ship. Sorry I couldn't be more help but Radiance clas is my strong suit!

Welcome to CruiseMates.

This link is the best web site for information on Voyager class aft balconies.

Your welcome. It is.

I know on deck 9 you don't want the corner as it has a porthole not a window. Not positive about deck 8 though. I used the info from that site to book the 'better' aft on deck nine last year.

Come down and sail the VoS from Galveston some time.

Just make sure you're towards the corner, either side, then no metal structures to block your view....If you get the corners, awesome cabin, huge balcony and views from side and back....Enjoy!

Most balcony cabins are the same dimensions, but to be sure, log onto the RCC website, go to SHIPS, click on Explorer, put in your cabin number and they will give you a diagram/size for the cabin.

I have taken many cruises (25 at last count) and found RCC balcony cabins the roomiest of any cruiseline I've taken (and we had 3 in the room).

I was quite shocked when I was offered an aft JS on deck 6. I quickly checked out the pics, and found there was MUCH more of the ship left back there to get to the true aft, with that superstructure.

We finally booked on deck 10, after doing a bunch of research.
