RCCL Fuel Surcharge

Hello Fellowcruisers,

According to an RCCL spokesperson, if anyone if confused about the May 1st fuel surcharge increase, this is what they said:

" just called RCCL and spoke to their rep about the fuel surcharge increase beginning May 1st.
She said it doesn't matter if you JUST have a deposit or if you paid in full for a cruise. A deposit is considered a booking. I told her how our friends agent told her she had to pay in full to get the old rate of $5.00 pp per day and the RCCL rep said that is incorrect. A deposit only.. on a cruise is still considered a "booking" and the rate won't go up if only a depost has been made."

Hope this helps anyone that has made a deposit...
