Default Questions as Sovereign cruise gets closer

A few last questions about our upcoming cruise on the Sovereign on May 12th----

How does tendering work? Is it by tickets, first come/first serve, type of cabin etc.?

Can you use the soda card in the dining room, on Coco Cay etc.?

Can your Seapass card be used on Coco Cay or do you need cash/credit cards?

That's it for now. Thanks.

hi nolou, just returned from sos on monday.great time!! the tenders were first come first serve, you can use your seapass card for alcohol but the straw market is cash only.the prices at nassua straw market were cheaper and the same stuff.the soda program which my wife had could be used at dinner and also on coco cay.you could also use sea pass card on coco cay for excursions.so the only place you need cash on coco is the straw market.hope this helps.

p.s.if you see sara from england[entertainment staff]tell her hi for us.she was great as well as chris the cruise director

Thanks for the great info. As for the tenders, what is the best time to get one? Do they get crowded early?

There are 3 tenders that hold up to 250 people each and they run every 20 minutes. I don't think there is a good or bad time. If one just left then you'd have a few minutes to wait, but other than that it was easy!

Hi Cheryl,
It looks like all your questions were answered...I'm just posting to say hey and can't wait to go! We'll probably be home from Port Canaveral before you get to the ship on Monday.
This time next week Dave and I will be at dinner on the SOS...YAY!

Hi Cheryl,
I found out that some friends of our will be getting on the ship the day you're leaving the ship....wonder how long we can keep this up?
Have a safe trip down and enjoy graduation!

rwmcam-----We consists of myself, my husband, our son 23 and our daughter 21.

This is a celebration cruise for our daughter. She graduates from the University of Tampa (nursing) on Saturday May 10th. We figured since we were going to be in Florida anyway, why not do a cruise. We also are looking for R&R.
