Default Can I get away with?

My wife and I are heading out 5/24 on the Liberty. This will be our 4th cruise but 1st on RCCL. I was wondering if I can get away with wearing dress pants with a dress shirt and tie but NO sport jacket on formal nights. This is my usual attire on past cruises formal nights but this is my first time on Royal. thanks.

You won't have a problem, but I think a more finished look, on this line, befits the dining room..jmho:) Have a great cruise!

I agree with TRIP. Add a jacket for a finishing touch. We've been on 15 RCCL cruises and they won't keep you from entering the dining room but it gives a nicer look.

You could always do a European trip, where bikini tops were the order of the day...........................!

I will be the same as you huntr104 as any jacket I have won't make the 4500 miles trip in my luggage.

Enjoy

Mark

We just got back from our first cruise with Royal Caribbean on the Voyager of the seas. My husband wore a dress shirt with tie only, no jacket on formal night and he was fine. Wear whatever makes you comfortable.

I agree with most of the others, wear a jacket, just looks better IMO.

We were in the LOS on 4/12. I had posted the same question about the attire for my 15 & 18 year old sons. The general consensus was a the same, however I did get some flaming. I ended up buying suits and was glad I did. On formal night I would say 90% of the people were to the code and it did make for a more special evening.

Enjoy your cruise.
