Depending on C & A status you might have a coupon in your booklet for Buy One - Get One.....

Cruisecouple speak the truth. The last day there is all of this "save a precious memory" etc, etc, and there is plenty of impulse buying on the way off the ship. Believe me - I have been one of those "fished" in !

Default Question and reply

They take all these pictures, I understand, but we are under no obligation to buy them? Will crew members take pictures of us with our camera, if we ask them? Are the cruise lines pictures 8x10 or just regular photos? Do we see them before we buy them?
Getting ready for 1st cruise in Sept.

Under no obligation at all. Smile pretty--just in case! When you go to the photo area to look at them - if you are positive you don't want them, pull them off and drop them in the bin provided. I know, seems like a big waste but plenty of people buy.

Crew members, or fellow passengers will be happy to take a picture for you.

I've always understood they do so much of the pic thing to make money that MIGHT help keep the overall cruising price down in some small way. I've only found the formal night ones to be possibly worth buying though...The rest are just the kind of shots you can have someone else take of you with your digital cam' or whatever.

RCCI only got to the annoying with pics on our cruise last fall when the "pirate" came up to our table shortly after we sat down for dinner one night and started putting his arms around people for pics...Almost lost my temper on that one but just reminded myself he'll be gone in a minute and we're on vacation etc. As he approached me, I gave him my best "cop look" and he turned and went away lol...Wife got a laugh out of that. It was just very tacky and boarderline rude to do it at the dinner table and whoever did his makeup job wasn't very talented lol.
