Default Setting limits on the children's seapasses?

Can you do this? If I know my daughter, she will eat about $80 worth of ice cream, $50 worth of cokes, buy 80 new t-shirts and cause us go bankrupt using her card. Can parents set limits on their children's cards?

Yes, you can. Have the Purser put a dollar limit on the card. When it reaches that limit, it won't work until put some more money on it.

Yes, you can put a daily monetary limit, or an entire cruise monetary limit on your childrens seapass card. Or make it to where they can not make any purchases at all if you want.

This is why our kids are issued a card! Or if they are automatically then WE hold on to them and they never know about the card.

this could be a golden opportunity to teach your kids a budgeting lesson. Put a certain dollar limit on their seapass, make it reasonable but not to high or not too low and when they use it up thats it, if they want to buy more stuff then they will have to use their own money, stand your ground even when they plead please, please i need.......

Haha, I like LisaK's post.

My parents never put a limit on my seapass, but I have never used a cent except to purchase the Coke Fountain pass!
