I know that RCCL is not known for doing upgrades. :o Can you please give me your experience or any tips for getting an upgrade before I sail or even at the pier. I am sailing the FOS on Sept 14. Generally the fall has been a great time to travel, but it seems like the cat is outta the bag and the rates are still staying high throughout the fall. I am booked in a promenade and right now the balconies are going for close to 1500 per person, while i paid 900. So, any help or advice you can give will be grealty appreciated.

My only experience is with Galveston as far as upgrade at the pier are concerned. They do have a window that handles them. You go there AFTER checking in. Sometimes they have a deal and sometimes they don't. All supply & demand. Good luck.

You can also contact your t/a and ask them what the cost to move up is, sometimes as you get closer to the departure date, they off some deals, depending on how full the ship is. I wouldn't count on getting anything once at the pier.
