Default What time do I have to be back on the boat?

I just found a great deal on a sailboat tour in San Diego. If the Monarch departs at 5, when is the latest I can get back on the boat? I would love it, if this would work out.

Also, does anyone know where I could find out where the boat will be docked in San Diego? Is it at the main port with all of the Carnival boats?

A huge thanks to anyone who can help me out.

The ship leaves port at 5:00? What time does the excursion end. Just keep in mind, if you go on your own and its running late, the ship won't wait.

usually it is "All aboard ship" 1/2 - 1hr. before setting sail from a port of call.

We always try to be back onboard at least 1 hr. before sail away to watch people running to the ship at the last minute !

Only one place in San Diego, several of the sailboat tours are within walking distance of the pier. For port Information look here http://maxpages.com/northamerica/San_Diego

The tour leaves between 12 and 1:30 and goes for 3 hours. And it leaves from shelter island which looks to be a 15 min drive from the port. I would love to use one within walking distance, but this one is $200 cheaper than all over the other charters I asked for quotes.

So I guess if the charter leaves any later than 12:30 I just won't do it.
