Question about the Grandeur

I was wondering if there is a "grill" near the pool area on this ship - Or anywhere else? What about a 24 hour pizza area?

Are there any "secret" places to relax in (quiet place that few know about)?

the grill and pizza are in the adult pool area. There's also a bar in there.

it is not really a secret place, but during the day and sometimes early evening; the Vikane Crown lounge is very quiet and nice place to sit and watch people milling about on the pool deck.

I have to agree with Martha, be sure to go to the Viking Crown lounge, even to sit down with a cup of coffee, very relaxing and a great view of the pool deck and activities there.

I love the Viking Lounge! Thanks for the info on the grill.

Do any of you have any "don't miss" suggestions for this ship?

Mean Dean July 4th, 2008 04:58 PM

Don't miss the 70's disco dance party up in the Viking Lounge! And remember to bring your boogie shoes!

Thanks Dean - I may have to leave Hubby at the casino and go to that party! We're from different "era's" and he just doesn't GET Disco!

CQ.. neither does Mean Dean :rofl::rofl:...make sure your husband learns one or two basic line dances and he will do fine in the disco (make sure he is in the back row at either end)..if Mean Dean tried to do his John Travolta "Saturday Night Fever" routine in his white suit, he would not fit in...only Dave The Wave can pull that off

I'll be on the Grandeur for the full charter Capital Jazz Cruise Sep 27th thru Oct 2nd...send me one of your old thongs and I'll use it to reserve a chair by the pool for you, with a sign and a picture of you that states,

"be right back" :rofl::rofl:
