Promenade Cabin

Hi all I was just doing some pre cruise checking and I was eyeballing the Freedom of the seas. My question is about the promenade cabins has anyone done these? What did you like about them? Can people from the promenade see into your room? Any thing else I should about these rooms? Thanks for the help.

Katlady, the promenade cabins are great. Had one on the Adventurer of the Seas. As a reminder, when getting dressed keep the curtains close because the people across the promenade from you can see right into your cabin. Also try to advoid booking one above the bars because you will hear noise late into the night. My friends had one of those cabins and said it was difficult to sleep. Bob

From what I know of the Katlady on this forum, I think she might be one of the noise makers in the bar

8) We've had the Promenade cabins twice and they're pretty good. You can watch the parades and people watch from the bench window. The people in the promenade can't really see in, but the cabins across from you definately can. That tip from ragtiki2005 is right. I forgot to close the curtains a couple of times and I'm sure somebody had a good laugh. lol

we are in a promanade room on the Eplorer of the Seas next month. Wanted to try something different this time after 16 cruises. The room was a little larger than inside rooms and go the window/seat extra space. Took the highest deck because was worried about noise too. Price was right too- same as many inside rooms and a lot less than outside.

I really like this idea I can see the parades from my room and not pay as much of a balacony room. Jefari are you concerned being that high you won't be able to see the parade?

not at all. there are only 3 decks of rooms over the mall area, 6,7,8 . we took the 8th. Didn't take it to watch the parade, just the whole experience.
