Pre-Paid Gratuities

On our upcoming cruise we have pre-paid gratuities from our travel agent. My question is, how do the Staff know they have been tipped by us? Do we get vouchers to put in envelopes or is there another system.

Thanks

Yes, RCI delivers vouchers the last afternoon with envelopes. We just put the voucher in the envelope, wrtie a nice thank you and depending on the service, add a little more in cash or not. Then we had these to the specific individuals.

Your cabin Stewart will give you envelopes with a card in them that shows your tip.

This is the easiest way to go!

We just got home from our cruise to New England and we prepaid (always do). I just can't imange NOT doing this, it's so nice to know it's been taken care of in advance.

We too add a little note and a bit extra for service that is deserving of a little extra attention

Yes you will receive your vouchers and envelopes on the last day fully labeled and ready to hand out.

can you ask RCCL to add the prepaid gratuities to your package if you want it added at a later date? I kinda like the idea of having the majority already taken care of.

Yes, there is a deadline to prepay once you are onboard.

We had a flyer placed in our room one night at turndown that gave the official "notice".

ok, so if I was to call Royal C. ahead of sail date I could ask for it to be added or even do so on board. Very good. Thanks

Yes.

We had to get our TA to add the gratuites for prepayment.

You do get vouchers for the room attendant, maitre'd, waiter, asst. waiter. Distribute them on last night or you might not see personnel again.
