Default Many Question, Enchantment Of The Seas

I have a bunch of questions, probably usual for a first timer! Please bear with me... Are there smoking rooms available on Enchantment Of The Seas? Can you smoke in any of the public area's? On "formal" night do ladies need to wear a dressy dress? Can you just wear dress pants? How much is a beer? I don't want to get a bill at the end of my trip that I can not afford. Can you request a room with a bathtub? Are there things to do very early in the morning? I usually go to bed at about 7:30 EST and get up at 5am. Is there TV available in the rooms? What about a library, books? Can you request a six-pack of beer be left in your room every night? I just want to relax, chill out and have fun.
Thanks

Hello,
I think I can answer most of your questions for you....
1) All the cabins on the Enchantment are non-smoking
What is the Smoking Policy onboard?

A: Effective January 2008, smoking is only permitted in designated areas and outdoors on the Starboard side of the ship (contact the Guest Relations Desk for details). Smoking is not permitted in any dining venue, theater, hallway or corridor. Smoking is not permitted inside any stateroom, however, it is permitted on private outdoor balconies of balcony staterooms. A $250 penalty will be applied to the SeaPass for guests found smoking in staterooms. Cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco must be properly disposed of and never thrown overboard. A guest must be at least 18 years of age to purchase, possess or use tobacco onboard.

2) Formal nights--you can dress as fancy as you like, anything from a pants suit to an evening gown, whatever you are the most confortable in.

3) The drink prices are about average to being here-a beer will run you about $3.00.

4) To get a room with a bathrub you would need to book at least a Junior Suite

5) There are things to do in the mornings and you can find out more information about those activites once you board the ship.

6)Yes, there are TV's in all the cabins

7) I do believe the ship does have a library where you can get books and also board games.

8) To have the beer in your cabin every night you would need to order that from room service each eveing

I hope this information helps.

I don't think you should be wanting to go to bed at 7:30 on a cruise. Yes, there are things to do early in the morning at 5 AM..........

SLEEP

We're leaving on the Enchantment for the first time
on Sept. 11, of 08. I'm looking forward to seeing this
ship, that you like so much, DTW.

Hanging in the pool area is a favorite activity of mine.

I have also been on this ship and it is still my favorite so far.

to have beer in your cabin - if you don't smuggle it onboard-- you can always order a bucket from the bars and take back to your room; the steward will keep it iced down; back a small soft side cooler and the steward will keep it iced as well.

the drink prices on cruise ships are not higher than most night nightclubs or resorts; in fact it is cheaper than drinks at a Mariott resort

Yes, that's what we've found about drink prices, too. Not bad
at all. I think some of the froo-froo drinks have gone up alittle, tho.

Looking forward to the Enchantment...finally.
