They no longer offer bridge tours, its a thing of the past. Ever since 9-11 they've stopped them. Too bad, I did enjoy seeing the bridge, all very interesting.
Like Donna mentioned after 9/11 the bridge tours stopped.
You can try asking Captain Charles. Never hurts to ask.

The bridge is awesome when the ship is moving. Best is when the ship is docking or leaving port.

"Diamond Plus" get invitations to the "behind the scenes" tours. Nice perk (as if we cruise junkies need a reason to cruise) and I really enjoyed the theater tour in May.
Yes - They still do bridge tours; however, they are limited to Diamond Plus Members and Guests sailing in Grand Suites and Higher. Tours for the gally, Theather and Studio B are also offered to the aforementioned group of folks.
I sailed on Voyager of the Seas two weeks and we had our bridge tour during our (1) day at sea. They allowed us to sit in the Captain's Chair and walk around, you can take still photos, just no video.
Bridge tours are not always only for Diamond Plus memebers and Cruisers with suites.
I did the tour and sat in the captains chair I'm not Diamond yet and always cruise inside. There were also others in the group that were not Diamond.

I'm sure it is alot easier for a Diamond Plus to get to the bridge then those that are not. I guess myself the family I was with just got lucky.
The bridge is awesome on sailaway.

The invite to the bridge tour for Grand Suite and higher is not fully rolled out to the fleet; they were trying it out on Voyager and were evaluating the demand to determine if it should be rolled out.
I have invited to a bridge tour on the Celebrity Mercury and the Liberty OTS, both times the invitation came from an officer I had made friends with.
