I suppose there are two sides to this argument - won't go there.

By the way, did everyone
see the mess at JFK at the AA baggage area due to conveyor belt breakdown. How about all those bags that were shipped out without
being on the same plane as the owners - is AA going to reimburse these
people when they have to drive back to the airport of destination to pick
up their stuff???? Probably not - And if AA does deliver the baggage --- who ultimately will pay for the
gas that AA uses to deliver all these bags ??? - You guessed it!! The already overcharged, overstressed
paying public because AA will increase airfares for EVERYBODY to offset this HUGE "booboo"s
expense.
Hi Sherrie

I will let you know when Whitley Gail arrives.

Whatever happened to traditional names like Mary, Diane, or Sherrie?? Whitley?? I don't even know if that is the correct spelling.

We have Wyatt (Whitley's (sp) older brother). We have Kaylee. And we have Bree Ann. Bree Ann is her first name. Will Never find that name monogrammed on Anything! Her full name is Bree Ann Frances.

Default experiencing technical difficulties.....Darn Computer!!

Hi All,

Well......I Did It! Booked 3 of my 4 shore excursions Online!

There was no opening for the encounter w/ dolphins.

Guess I'll keep checking daily to see if there are a couple of openings.

Questions: How many cruises have you all been on. What places have you visited?? Most memorable cruise?

Dale would like to go on an Alaskan Cruise.

Regards to all

Kerry

Sounds like we may have some "southern" influence here - oh well, as
long as baby and Mom come home healthy - perhaps there is still time (about the name, I mean).

I can never figure out how parents- to -be can
put a name to a face BEFORE that child is actually in their arms!! Funny,
though my daughter does look like a "Julie" and my DS - Richard (after his Dad - my DH insisted !!) I don't
think I would name a son after the father anymore. Too many problems
when they are both adults - especially with the same initials and our DS
still lives with us.
- My neighbors have 5 children - the dad's name is Wallace
and the kids are: Wanda, William, Wayne, Walter and Wendy and the
last name is Wise !!! Talk about tongue twisters - took me awhile to
remember who was who - but they are all very nice people and very commited to their parents and each other. That's what counts !!
Good luck on the new baby and the name!!

Just thought of one - how about Wynnoah (sp) like the country singer - her
mom's Tammy Wynnett.

We have taken 3 cruises so far - two in the Caribbean (I like Grand Caymen, Aruba, Dominica, Costa Rica) and the last a full transit of the
Panama Canal from CAL to FLL which was amazing (and our best to date).
We have sailed with Costa (fun crew) Princess (good food - very quiet
ship/stuffy crew) and Celebrity (FANTASTIC). Our next (Jan.'09) is with
RCCL's Mariner of the Seas to South America around Cape Horn. Our
longest (30 days) and most $$$$ yet - first with RCCL and the Mariner so am rather anxious about how the ship/service/food will compare to Celebrity. Alaska is amazing - my brother-in-law and his girlfriend went
(asked us to join them but too short notice) - amazing photos - but as we
live in western New York and our winters can be VERY, VERY long and cold
- there is NO WAY I am going anywhere COLD in the summer !!

Hi Kerry and Fellowcruisers,

Congratulations on your next bundle of joy this weekend.. As some of the other cruisemate members replied, do let us know if it is a girl or a boy!

I read on AA's website that AA would not be charging the $15 or $25 if you are on their Frequent Flyer program? Can anyone else confirm this, please?

I also read or heard that AA is supposed to deliver your baggage with regards to the fiasco at JFK a couple of days ago. What a mess!

I'm with you Sherrie, I much prefer the warmer climes. I have heard how beautiful Alaska is, but the expense of getting to Alaska from Bermuda would probably cost as much as the cruise itself!!

I think our next cruise might be a New England/Canada cruise on Explorer of the Seas in 2010, if still available...

Try to go in either Sept or October when the leaves are absolutely gorgeous !! That may be our next one but DH keeps talking about
picking just an island and spending a week in one place. I looked
into Grand Caymen for January and one week with air and breakfast
would be $ 3400 with no dinners, or entertainment ! So that made
the cost of our 30 day repositioning cruise around South America
even more attractive. Actually got to see photos of our cabin today
on another cruise message website. I am getting EXCITED !!!!

Hi everyone!!

Whitlee Gayle (Get that spelling!!) arrived into the world yesterday morning at 11:27 Ohio time. She is absolutely adorable!!! 10 fingers and 10 toes.....and a head of coal black hair. I've never seen so much hair on a newborn before!!! She weighed 6lbs. 12oz. and is 19 inches long. BEAUTIFUL! Baby, big brother, mommy and daddy are doing fine. In fact they're home already! This was a textbook pregnacy and textbook delivery. 3 1/2 hours of labor. I told my d-i-l 'That isn't labor!! 21 1/2 hours of back labor is Labor!!!".

Wyatt was 8 weeks early, weighed 4lbs 5oz and was 17 1/2 inches long. He spent two weeks in Children's Hospital. Thankfully the only medical issue he had was his lungs, once they took care of that, he's been fine ever since.

This is my mom's 10th great grandchild and the oldest one is 8. And she only has two great grandsons....Poor little boys!

regards

Kerry

Oh yeah,

My husband's family did the same thing with D's. Damon, Delbert, Dale Donald. They wanted me to continue using the D.

Ummm No. We have Matthew, Trent (the new daddy) and Joshua. We didn't want a Dale jr. either. We used Dale's name as our youngest son's middle name....Joshua Dale.

Wow! You're like the Cruise Queen!

Winters haven't been too bad here in Ohio for several years. I don't like cold weather. When I was young, we had bigger snows, and the snow stayed around much longer. These days snows are hit and miss, and they rarely stay around. They usually melt away in just a few days. Which is fine by me!!

Hi Sherry and fellowcruisers,

Yes, Kerry congratulations on Whitlee. All the best.

We just love to cruise as you can see from the cruises we have taken will be taking so far.

When we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary or was it our 25th?, my husband asked me what I wanted to do, so I told him I would like to go on a cruise. He told me to go ahead and plan - we never looked back after that!!!

Sherry, you asked where we have been - well - Eastern, Southern, Western Caribbean. (We took 2 Carnival cruises then tried RCCL and so far, we have stayed with RCCL.) We also did the Panama Canal cruise - that was very interesting. After all, what is not to enjoy? Only a couple of decisions you have to make while on board your cruise ship - when the next meal is and the next show in the theatre - real tough decisions huh!!

Our next cruise will be this November 30th onboard RCCLs Explorer of the Seas out of NJ! Looking forward to that very much.

Hi dottiel,

Whitlee is one week old today! They only live 3 miles away, so I get to see them often.

Whitlee is doing good. She's already sleeping 3 to 4 hours during the night. Her daddy was a two hour feeder.....all night! Come to think of it. So were his brothers.

Hi Kerry,

My husband is the cruise king! He wants to cruise at least twice a year, whereas I would settle for one a year. It is just getting too expensive with the airfare, hotel and cruise.

Lucky you Kerry, only 20 days left!!!!

I'm sure you will have a great time.
