Travel Channel Special 8\1\08

A new travel channel special entitled "Great Cruises: Royal Passage to Asia" will be airing on Friday, August 1st at 8pm ET. The show will feature the Rhapsody of the Seas on a voyage to Asia with stops in Bankok, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, and 3 stops in China.

As usual, the Travel Channel will be replaying the show through August and September.

Crap! No Travel channel with my cable provider but I am doing an Asia cruisetour with "RCI" in Feb '09. Hopefully we can pick this up on the web.

I was away in Tampa for the weekend and could only tape the show to watch when I get back, but I don't believe this on is hosted by the lovely Samantha Brown......but awesome photos DTW!

You didn’t miss much. And No, Samantha wasn’t the host. They featured 3 women and a guy that said he was one of the entertainers.

The featured “journalist” was probably a producer’s relative with long hair, no acting skills (her dramatic and pensive looks made Debbie and I laugh out loud), way too many wardrobe changes –she probably needed a steamer trunk- and a really bad overbite.

Sadly it was more of an infomercial.
