Default Oasis

Has anyone booked on the Oasis yet? I'm waiting for the 28th to book.

Yes, I booked this morning. I like the Promenade cabins on the Freedom and Voyager class ships, so I booked one on the Oasis. The cabin I booked is almost the same location as the one on the Freedom this coming April. I mention this because it is easy to compare the price. This booking is $140 per person more than the same cabin on the Freedom.

There are only 28 Promenade cabins on Oasis. So the location was very limited.

I'm planning on booking a balcony cabin, don't really care what deck though. I'll try to get the cheapest. I want to book for Oct 2010. I'm not sure if they have the calendar for that time.

You are correct. I really like these cabins though, so I was up at 5am and on hold for 45min. There are alot of options on this ship, amazing.

Default Also Booked

Booked this morning for the inaugual cruise on 12/12/09. I have a cabin on deck 10 with a balcony on the end facing the boardwalk and if you look left faces the outdoor theater. May be too large, but want to try and then go back to smaller ship.

One thought about the Oasisi - you might have a hard time ever leaving the ship in port. Especially if it is one that you have been to more than once. It reminds me of that all inclusive space cruiser in that wacky sci-fi movie "The Fifth Element !

Yes, they are open. We are booking for Oct. 2, 2010. Many of our friends booked today for that date. And some people I know booked for the end of October. I heard that not all of November is open yet.

Booked two GS and the Aqua Suite on 8/21 for the 2/13/10 sailing. These new specialty suites are very expensive; I'm not once this book hype calms down the prices will level out. The Aqua suite has a 610 sq foot balcony over looking the theater and sleeps 8, pretty fancy!

I wonder how booking is going....

We are Platinum Members. I got an email this morning inviting me to book now ( with the Diamond and Diamond Plus folks) on the Oasis because I booked a Junior Suite on our cruise four weeks ago on the Liberty OTS. We will be booking today!!!!

Lucy831,

Well, we decided to go with a category D cabin. The RCL offer was only if we booked a JS or above. So we have not booked ... yet. But we are ready to go on April 17 or 24 of 2010.

We just booked Oasis too. We're on the Aug 7th 2010 Western Caribbean sailing. We decided to take the plunge and my friends and I took a Crown Loft Suite which is on Decks 17 and 18!

Have you already decided who gets the bed and who gets the sleeper sofa?
