How do you use Cruisemates. Are you a roamer, and cruise the site, stopping at lots of ports? [forums] Or, do you pretty much have a certain itinerary, and don't veer off course very much? Or, are you a lurker, if so, we would love to see your first post!
Do you only look at the cruise line forum, you have cruised on last, or only for your upcoming cruise line?
Do you look at cruise line forums that, you hope one day you might want to sail on, like Crystal, Seabourn etc, to get a feel for those ships...
Do you want to add your agita to the Cruise Gripe board, or get a giggle at the jokes forum? Styles at Sea, Food & Hotels.
I hope you check out the front page, cruise reviews, cruise bargains. photo of the week, & hot topic of the week, it could be yours!!
There is so much valuable information to share here, I hope every cruiser will roam the boards and check it all out! Sharing opinions and being a part of this growing community is the spirit of Cruisemates...
Trip, with her book & tea!

I have to admit I lurk at the same ports each time I visit. I only look at the Royal Caribbean threads, destinations where I've been or am going but I also really enjoy the gripes and photo sections too

Yes... I am guilty of all of the above. I roam, I look for specific topics, I ask questions (and get GREAT asnswers), and I answer questions when I can. I laugh at the jokes, sneer at flamers and go off into my own cruise world when reading someone else's review of their cruise.
My DW says I use this like the corner bar - without the associated bar tab. I guess she's right... and thank goodness there's no charge!

I pretty much "hop around" - first for the specific cruise/line I am sailing but also like to check out the general info sites, the areas to be
visited, just about everything this site has to offer. Don't know how to
post photos but do enjoy them.

I first look at the front page for anything new, and read the new info.
I have lurked and surfed so much that I have a pretty good foundation for most of the lines, soooooooooo pretty much I just look at Carnival, HAL, Princess and RCCL.
Alot of the CCL and RCCL topics are about the Caribbean/East coast area, so I usually skip those. Mike will not fly, and I'm not supposed to for health reasons, so I doubt we will ever get to those ports.
Mike uses Carnival for his golf cruises. CCL has a great golf program.
We're trying RCCL for the first time next year, and also looking to Princess for Alaska (from San Francisco).
HAL, we love.
After reading those posts, I go down to the ports section and read what pertains to our cruise.
AWWw, sheesh~~~~~I'm addicted.
