Unfortunately cruisequeens trip may not be as nice as it normally is. The October 25 cruise had rough weather both going to Bermuda--it took two tugs and an extra 1/2 hour to get the ship away from the pier. We got to Bermuda an hour late. Coming home there was more rough weather. winds were 12-20 mph. Speed had to be reduced from 21 knots to 16 knots. This meant that instead of getting to Baltimore at 7 or 7:30 as is normal we got in at 9:30. Also, the first set of self assist passengers took longer than normal getting off for some reason. We're diamond members and can usually get off right after the self assist passengers. We're 20 minutes from the port and usually have a load of clothes in the wash by 10. We didn't get to our car until 12:15. I hate to think of the time that the others got off the ship. People were coming in and being dropped off as we were leaving. This means they had a long time to wait in the terminal.

Baltimore terminal is usually a very nice terminal to leave from. It is easy to get to. There is a peak time from about 12-1 where it looks like a long line of cars that can slow things down. If you can get there on either side of this time frame it helps.

Inside the terminal we've always found them efficient. Of course, like always, it helps to have your seapass out, signed, cc ready, etc. Makes their life eaiser. It also takes them less time to process if all of this is ready for them and you can get on the ship quicker.

We love this port--went out of it four times this year and have three planned for next year.

Hello Fellowcruisers,

Yes, last week the ocean was pretty rough here in Bermuda.

If anyone would like to see what the seas are, log onto www.weather.bm and you see the conditions for this week coming. Any questions with regards to this website, please feel free to contact me as I live in Bermuda.
