Towel Animals

Hi all, I'm a regular Carnival west coast cruiser. We are getting the Mariner of the Seas out here. I was thinking of trying RCCL again (last cruise was in 1994). We love the towel animals we get every night on Carnival. Does RCCL normally do the towel animals?

I'm already a little worried because RCCL doesn't allow me to take on a bottle of wine per person over 21, which Carnival allows. The last non Carnival cruise was on Celebrity and it didn't go well. Alaska was wonderful, but Celebrity Infinity had bad food, was old ship, and no towel animals. :(

I really love Royal Caribbean. I think they do towel animals, but I can't remember if it's every night. We went last spring on the Enchantment and had a wonderful time. Service was impeccable, food was great, and we had a fantastic time. I don't remember about towel animals tho. I have to say I usually tell the cabin stewards they don't have to bother with them for me. I've seen them so many times and I'm just really happy the room is clean..... :D

Usually towel animals except for 1st night. 8)

Much better room service menu. You'll love the shower.

Yep, the have towel animals. I have sailed both CCL and RCI. You'll be happy w/the Mariner. RCI has a crappy booze policy though. Try www.rumrunners.com and use code repeat for a 15% discount. :D

Many threads on cruise critic for tips on how to bring your personally purchased booze on board to enjoy in the privacy of your cabin.

I love coming into my room at night to see what kind of little creature is wearing my sunglasses or has eyes of chocolate. Doesn't take much to entertain me LOL LOL

This was first night on mariner. Some kind of swan I think made from a pool towel.

My dog is about 15 pounds. LOL He may lick the heck out of you, but no biting. He was excited cause I took him to doggy dip day. He got to hang by the pool with the other dogs. They open the pool to the doggies once a year.

I also have a cat bigger than your dog. He's 18 1/2 lbs. & acts like a dog. When you call him he comes running.
Gee, my DH doesn't even do that !! LOL

Buddy Boy loves playing with kitties. My cat Charlie likes him to. In fact, one time Charlie got his nail stuck in Buddy Boy's face and neither one of them was moving. They didn't want to hurt each other. I went over and gently removed Charlie's nail and they went back to playing. LOL
