Default 5 vs 7 days, whats better for singles and any groups going

Wow, this board if fascinating. For me, being a 1st timer...and looking for great food, dancing, and the possibility of meeting singles or solo travelers between 20-40? Anyone know of any tours, groups or singles that are more on one ship than another. Also the 5 day vs a 7 day, what is better for singles, typically please? Thank you.

Usually the shorter cruises are better chance of a party atmosphere. Never a guarantee but a better shot.

It's true that shorter cruises tend to have more of a party atmosphere, however, having said that the longer the cruise the better your chances of really getting to know someone you meet on a cruise. Therefore, IMO 7 would be better for you, or maybe 10, or even 14!
They'll all work, and I have no doubt you'll have a great time aboard. I think you'll find that the dining room tries to seat singles together too, (assuming you select traditional dining, and not open seating dining)

I like 7 day cruises. On the shorter ones, by the time you unpack, it's time to re-pack.
You usually really start meeting people & getting to know them on the 4th or 5th. day.
