Default Rhapsody of the Seas to Australia

Will be taking this cruise in January 2009. Would appreciate any information from those that have taken this cruise on the Rhapsody.
For example, comments about the ship, the food, your cabin, etc.
Any recommended excursions in New Zealand. Whatever stands out in your mind. Thanks

We took this ship out of Galveston and she was lovely. The solarium pool was fantastic and it was a great place to just relax. I would take the ship again anytime.
Your trip sounds wonderful!! Please let us know how much fun you had as soon as you get back....

She is an older ship, just 78,000-ton and 2435 passenger beds (fairly crowded). But on a long cruise like this she should be fairly quiet and relaxing.

You're making me feel old now Paul calling her an older ship She was only 2 years old when we went on our very first cruise (Carnival Jubilee). Still like the medium and smaller ships.

Been on Rhapsody a couple of times and Vision (sister ship). Loved the Schooner bar of course. Was not a fan of their breakfast buffet in the windjammer. They way they had it set up, most everything was cold. Best to stand in line at the omlette station for something hot.
