Has anyone used discount cruises to book their cruise and if so what kind of service did you get. were you happy with the way everything was handles. I always book directly with rccl and am looking at using discount cruises because they are cheaper. Thanks jimbo
And so far...it appears to be OK. We used them once before about 8 years ago and they were also fine. I was able to get $500 off the cabin through them when the price was reduced after I had booked. I'd say you probably need to know what you are looking for with a web based TA since it is not as personal as a face to face TA.
RCL Liberty in 2008
Princess cruise in 2001
Costa cruise in 1989
We have used Vacationstogo many times and have found their service and prices exellent.Plus their site is one of the best for checking out all the cruises, the ships, prices and just about everything you want to know.
If you can wait until around 90 days before you want to cruise and watch the site the prices vary a lot but also check the cruise line also to compare.Less than 3 weeks until we cruise which we booked through Vacationstogo.
Ok , book with cruise line , then shop online for same cruise at cheaper price , contact them to confirm prices and change over booking from cruise line , you might have to call cruise line to release your booking over to new agent. Little work but savings well worth the time
