Default Wheres is a good place to meet on board? Activities also?

Anyone been on the Grandeur, or will be there next week end? I am more curious where is a good place or an ideal location. A bunch fo us have no clue, can you make offer some suggestions, thanks? PS Although they do NOT have a meet n greet (or mingle) does this ship have events and activities for a bunch fo us who will meet on board also?

There will be many good places to meet. Once you are onboard, take a walk around, find a place that you like and make that your meeting place.

Be sure to read your daily news letter for events happening the following day, they will have time/place, etc. They leave them in your cabin when they fix your cabin in the evening.

The Viking Crown Lounge, is a real nice spot to set the tone for your cruise with new pals..A killer view, and tables to sit and chat........

The atrium, may work too.....be sure to tell everyone to wear a red rose, so you will know each other

If you are traveling with friends and are meeting on the ship, u can set an area to meet, like the above thread stated; meet in the viking crown lounge. If u are asking about meeting people whom u met on this board, u can also set up pre-dertermined area onboard; now if u are talking about somewhere to meet everyday just to chat and have a few drinks, there are many areas on the ship where this can be accomplished. The pool bar, viking crown lounge, etc. I hope this answers your question.

Yep, the Viking Crown lounge would be a great place to meet, its never really crowded unless they have something going on there, nice and a great view.

There is but one place to meet onboard. As everyone gets aboard the Pool Bar is the place to be! I was on the Grandeur last February and had a blast! Some of my fellow Cruisemates came along as well. You can check out the rest of the ship later but a good spot at the pool and near the bar is where it is! The Sail Away party takes place here!

Dave's right. I've had several meet and greets onboard (all at the poolbar) and it really sets the tone for a fun cruise. Instead of wearing a rose we chose party beads, available at any dollar store. This is something you definitely want to do so everyone is easily recognizable.

I knew that Dave would have the only answer to this question. The pool bar is a great place to meet. Wear those beads like CQ said. Bob

Yes, beads are a good way of meeting. I always like to be the first one at the bar and have my beads on.

Really, does it just mean you like to party or you are fun or they a symbol for you are single or you just from New Orleans (ya I am lame I do not know)?? Anyways, are they a RCCL item..or something from a dollar store?

The beads are so that everyone coming to a meet-on-board ( meet & greet ) can recognize each other. Yes, you can get them at the dollar store.
