Nassau-Paradise Island

Will be in Nassau for a day with 8 ladies. If not taking ship's tour to Atlantis, what is the cost of water taxi /or taxi to Paradise Island?

Also, how much of the Atlantis resort can you walk thru without taking the paid tour?

Any info on your past experience would be appreciated.

As I recall, it is about $3 each weay for a water taxi and land taxi was $4 or $5 each way.

You cannot go to the pool, or in the Atlantis dig without paying. Everything else I believe is open to the public.

I remembet the cab being about $10.00. The Dig, is well worth seeing. Fabulous designs all around and the fish are just amazing..You walk through a glass tube, as the fish have fun looking at you....Upstairs they have some great shops, you can gamble a bit, and take a peek at the amazing Dale Chilhouly glass sculpture..well worth a picture there.

That is a great question. I will be in Nassau on Monday and was wondering about that myself. From what I can find out, the all access pass for Atlantis is $35pp and it can be purchased in a few different areas around Atlantis including the casino. Bon Voyage!

We were there in July and took the water taxi over. NEVER AGAIN! They packed us in there like sardines, and just when you thought not one more person could fit in... they let 10 more on.

To the point where people were standing on the stairs inside the ferry and the ferry was rocking. It almost got scary. Not to mention it was over 100 degrees... Everyone was miserable!!

Some taxi guy had offered to take the 3 of us in a taxi for $4 each. But we turned him down and took the water taxi. You can bet that we took the regular taxi back to the ship!!

Explorer in August!!! yayyyy!!!

The excursion through the cruise line was worth it in my opinion. There was a speaker that informed everyone of who lived in each of the houses along the harbor and gave historic info on the area. Atlantis is awesome. The tunnels, casino, pools, and aquatic life at the resort is amazing. My husband and I have been a few times. I hope you enjoy it.

AND - don't forget, there is a great beach at Atlantis !
