We stayed in a promenade a few years ago on the Explorer - I loved it - there was a window seat so I sat there and read from time to time and watched the parade from up there - always something to see. My hubby didn't like it though - he prefers the balcony so that's what we always get now. Enjoy!

I was on the EOS in April and stayed in a PR cabin on Deck 6. I enjoyed it as always. These are my favorite cabins and have stayed in them on the FOS, LOS, VOS, EOS, some of them several times. I think you will like the choice.
Also remember that you can see out and others can see in. The windows are not one way glass. You could be popular with the cabins across the Promenade if you forget.
Take care,
Mike

we were on the EOS in Sept and had a promanade room deck 8 opposite the shore booking desk so can't tell you about noise BUT we really enjoyed the room. We have had inside, outside and balcony rooms on other ship so this was something new to experience. The room was larger than a normal inside, Had the window seat, and gave the feeling of an outside room because of the windows and the curtains. Would do it again!

hahaha I thought of that too! I'll keep the shades down!
