Default Discounts for Department of transportation employees.

  • Has anyone heard of Royal giving discounts for Department Of Transportation employees? Someone told my husband at work that they give discounts to them. Thanks

Sorry, I have never heard of that, why not give them a call?

jadainca,
This is a link to the RCI current policy

But, a phone call may get you more info!

Click here for link to official RCI special pricing

Also, check with various TA's (on-line and brick and mortar) and see if they have any "special pricing"(They may rebate part of their commission to members of special groups!)
It doesn't hurt to always check for the best possible price

"RCI" has been pretty good to me (in fact just got an upgrade for trip this week) but their competition has more discounting and reduced rates for target groups. I was just going through some training with a competitor and couldn't believe how liberal they were. Don't recall "DOT" specifically but Union members was a category and they were less restrictive on what constitutes a "military rate." Hope this helps, Robbie

Ok I called them and they dont give a DOT discount. Just Carnival does, a big one in fact. But we are booked on Royal and still excited about it.
Thanks everyone for your help.
