Need help, what to see in Tortola, BVI?

We were at this port one other time. We went to Virgin Gorda? What is worth seeing in Tortola? Did you take the ship's excursion or went on your own?

Thanks

Tortola is a small island, not much action, and not much shopping to speak of, besides tee shirts etc...we did an island tour, which took us to the highest point on the island...a rest stop, with a gift sho..best thing is the view... bring singles for the rest room, as they charged the last time we were there.

The beach we stopped at was very nice and worth going to..did you do tyhe baths in Virgin Gorda, I hear that are great to see.

Yes the baths are worth the trip. We want to see the sites in Tortola this time. Was the beach in Tortola within walking distance?

Try this site..http://www.bareboatsbvi.com/tortola_beaches.html

To be honest, I have no recollection of what beach we were at, or where in the tour this stop was. We stopped for drinks, and stayed a short time to dabble our toes., in the water..this site above, I am sure will give you some good info.
