We just booked our first cruise on Adventure of the Seas to the Southern Caribbean. I have heard about drink packages where you can get unlimited soda. Anyone know how much these run? Also, are there any kind of drink packages for "adult" beverages?

Thank You!
The soda packages run about $4 a day for kids and $6 a day for adults. They can only be purchased on the first day of the cruise, and must be purchased for the entire duration of the cruise. There are no drink packages for alcohol, except a wine with dinner package.

The soda package adds 15% to your bill. So a seven day cruise would be $42 plus 15%. Per person. If u do the math, that's a lot of soda to drink. If u buy a can of soda at the bar or dining room. They charge u $2.00 plus 15%; basically u have to drink over three sodas per day to break even. When u count shore excursions, and being gone all day, that's a lot of soda to drink.

Three drinks a day is not much when you are on a hot weather cruise, specially if you cruise with kids. It's good value.
Something else to think of. Soft drinks are not the only beverage sold with this package. You can go up to any bar and get fruit juice as well. I love that I can enjoy pineapple juice all day long, (with our without Malibu) so for me its definitely worth it.
Wildrover is right. Bring your own water onboard because they "WILL" charge you alot for it. I had one suitcase filled one cruise, finished the water and had a suitcase to cart off all of the items I had purchaced.
I usually do the wine package. I have a bottle every night with dinner so it is acutaully cheaper for us. Not alot, but it does save you $$$$.
I never got charged for water. Regular water not bottle. I usually drink a few glasses of water with lemon each day. Not because it is free but because I'm a big water drinker.
The soda card at $42 plus 15% is dirt cheap and so worth it for soda drinkers.

My husband and I purchase the soda package and it's worth every penny! We are HUGE Diet Coke drinkers. Not to mention we mix it with our Southern Comfort and Capt Morgan!!
