Default First time cruiser: Enchant of Season 7 day carribean?

I'm from cali. I have never ever been cruising. Price is always a consideration. I've been looking at carnival since it is the cheapest. I just want to have the best time possible with my gf. I'm getting stressed about looking at all the deals. I feel lost sometimes

Travel agent told me for 976 pp (air ticket, cruise + tax) I could go on Royal Carribean enchantment of the seas 7 day carribean cruise

Itinerary
depart miami FL
Labadee
ocho rios
grand cayman
cozumel

My question is: How does that deal look?
how is enchantment of the seas? Suitable for young couple?

Thank you sooo much for the help! much appreciated

What level of cabin is included in the $976 pp quote? That would be the biggest consideration. The Enchantment of the Seas is a great ship, not RCI's biggest, but certainly one of their more popular ships. There is no doubt you would have a great cruise, and it looks like a great itinerary. In fact, I really like the itinerary, looks like an itinerary with a lot of water activities and beach ports, if you are looking for that.

Since you live in Cali, have your travel agent look into prices on the Mariner of the Seas, she sails the Mexican Riviera out of Los Angeles, so you might be able to spend the same amount of money, sail closer to home and get a better cabin. Unless you are set on going to the Caribbean, then the price would seem OK if it was atleast an oceanview room or above. You would definately have a great cruise. Just my humble opinion, your mileage may vary and others may disagree.

976. is a pretty good rate which includes air from Cali to Fl.

I agree with Blue and say you should check into the Mariner. I've looked into Mariner for myself for the summer and the rates are around $999. pp

What month are you looking to cruise?

I was on the Enchantment in November 08 and had a wonderful cruise.

Being this is your first cruise I'm sure you and your GF will enjoy it no matter which ship you choose.
