How close is the parking garage at the port to the RCCL terminal, please?

Very close...and it is one of the easiest terminals as far as
parking, etc.

Does anyone know the charge per day now, as many have
increased the fees.

You can , as they say, throw a rock and hit the ship from the garage--it's close.
Re / parking, in October it was $15. per day, payable up front via cash or c/card.

Default Parking Website

Parking is right next door to ship. $15/day for regular size vehicles. Here is a link to the website for all the info.

Just the small roadway separates terminal and parking garage.

Default Parking

We are staying at the Residence Inn Cape Canaveral the night before our cruise. The room is only $99 and they offer a free shuttle and parking for the week of the cruise. Much cheaper than paying the 15 per day fee.

Last year we stayed at Country Inn...this Oct. we're deciding
between Country Inn, Radisson and the Residence. They all
offer shuttle service...and prices are comparable within a small
range.

Any help on which offers the best shuttle service. We want
to be on the ship as early as possible. Last year we attended
a wedding onboard and were among the first to get shuttled over.

Any advice will be appreciated.

PS: Yea...A few months away from the Freedom (again). it's
an awesome ship and an awesome time.

Question about the hotel shuttles. If you stay & park there pre-cruise, will they also come pick you up from the cruise terminal post cruise?

Yes, they will...and I found it was excellent service. We were one of
the first passengers off the ship, and they took us right to the
hotel to get our car.
