Default Inoculation / Health questions in cruise documents.

I just received my cruise documents and was reading through. I got to a paragraph about inoculation and health which states-"all guests must ensure they are medically fit for travel. As such we remind you to check with your physician at least 4 to 6 weeks before sailing to make sure you are up to date with any required immunizations or vaccines you may need (including but not limited to certification of yellow fever vaccination) to ensure you will be permitted to visit each of the exciting destinations and tours on your itinerary".

Should I get some sort of certification from my doctor before I cruise?
Caribbean Cruise. Thank You

No you won't need that and they don't check for. This is for your own safety and it covers the cruiselines butt in case you do "catch" something along the way.

One shot you should definitely keep up is the tetanus/diptheria booster. check with your doctor about it.
also ask your doctor about the hepititus a and b shots.

there are some countries that require yellow fever shots, but none in the caribbean. mostly africa and south america.

enjoy your cruise.
