Car service from Long Island to Bayonne terminal?????
Does any one know a good limo co. where I could get a town car or something from Long Island(Lindenhurst) to the NJ port? I could apply the $200+ I would be spending for parking towards the car fare.
My concern is what if I have car troubles and miss the cruise. Not that my car ever gives me problems but as one of Murphy's laws suggests:Anything that can go wrong will and at the worst possible time and I've seen a lot nicer cars then mine broken down on the side of the road.
Besides, I'm not familiar with the area and I heard it could be a little hectic.
Thank You

David I'm not sure of any in your area but we usually get the monthly mailing (Coupon Clipper Magazine, Super Coups, etc) and they have listing in there along with coupons too.
Just got Super Coups the other day and there was 3 coupons for car services. I'm just under an hour from Bayonne and rates were running around $80. plus tolls and tips.
But I know what you mean anything can happen on the way to the ship/airport. I'm getting tired of driving to the airport and parking I think I'll try a car service next time. It is nice to be picked up and not driving.
Enjoy your cruise! 8)

If you do decide to drive it isn't that bad. NJ Turnpike to Exit 14A. After exit there are signs and you go left until you see water and the ship. You don't have to go into the city of Bayonne.

There is a bus that runs from Long Island to the Bayonne cruise port and it is a lot cheaper than taking a limo . I know that it leaves from Elmont but there may be other areas as well.
