Are you a memorabilia collector of your favorite cruise lines? Tee shirts, magnets, mugs? How about books on the ship you are sailing, to add to your library? Model ships? Daily menus? Can you get lost in the shop onboard that sells everything shippy?
How about vintage liner collectibles...One Christmas my son gave me a menu from the Queen Mary's menu, Saturday, July 2, 1938. Some of the things on the menu, like, roast haunch of mutton, or herrings a la sardines, I would pass on, but the old graphics are great!

I have a model ship of virtually every cruise ship I have sailed on, bought them onboard at the gift shop on every cruise (unless I already had the ship model from a previous cruise). The only ship model I don't have is the Enchantment of the Seas, if anyone knows of a way to get it, let me know!

I have the Pacific Princess gold charm from "Love Boat" days. It's a beautiful replication of the ship in gold and it hangs on an old charm bracelet of mine. I have had offers from people over the years to buy it but would never think of selling it.
How about a pink frisbee from Premier CL ( the late lamented Big Red Boat)? Now that's a cruising memento.
