Default New Dude Needs Help

New to the forum from North Carolina. Maybe someone can help me, my wife and I are thinking about a possible Alaskan cruise tour next (2010) year. Want to see the interior and looking for some suggestions. Have been reading up on options from Princess, Holland, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. Not limiting it to these if there are other options. We have been with Princess on the Inside Passage cruise in 2003 and loved it.
Thank you in advance for any information. If you would prefer, you may also email me at nctraveler54@gmail.com

If you can possibly go this year I would. Prices are VERY low for Alaska. With fewer ships there next year pricing will probably be higher than this year.

The order you list them is the order I'd consider the various lines.

Thank you for the reply. I read the same thing at Vacations To Go but pulling it off this year is not good. The wife retires next year (maybe) and she wants to go after that. She also wants to go on the New England/Canada trip so that is another option. We would do it this year but I will be in Alberta the middle of September so I do not need to take off again that time of year; she wants to see the fall colors. The more I read, I am very interested in the Holland 12-13 tour. Looks like you get to see alot of the country starting in Skagway through BC, the Yukon, Denali and ending up in Anchorage.

Check this out, Royal, Holland, and Princess all have the cruise thru Alaska, plus they all three own their own buses and rail cars to take you to Denali and other sights. That makes it a little harder to choose which line. So do your research, and pick one. I have only sailed with Royal so I have no knowledge of the other two. I love Royal. Cheers 8)

Don't get too stressed out planning. Vacations are supposed to be fun. Look at me talking about stress. Right now I'm in Madrid, Spain on business. I get home Saturday, have a to take mom-in-law to dinner for mothers day Saturday night. Pack on Sunday morning, go to daughters house for lunch Sunday, then head to airport to fly to London Sunday night for our cruise out of Southampton. Talk about stress. Yea, I feel your pain.
