Default Freedom promenade Room Bed Set-up

My wife and I will be traveling with my our 3 and 5 year olds in August on the Freedom of the Seas. We have booked two adjoining promenade view rooms.

Does anyone know if the queen bed can be split into two beds?

We are not sure what the best way will be to configure the two rooms. Becuase both kids are flippers and would spend the night kicking their bedmate if they are not separated. We are also are worried that the little one might fall out. The 3 year old sleeps in a Twin Bed now but we have side guards on it.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks!

The beds can be made into a queen or two doubles. You can put the request in with your reservation. On RCI website you are asked if you want the bed made into a queen or leave as two doubles.

It is a queen bed or 2 TWINS, not 2 doubles as the previous poster said...
