Default Pre Paid Coke Pass

I usually get a coke pass after I get on the ship. The cruise I have coming up in September, I prepaid for the coke pass. How does this work? When I check in and get my seapass card, will it already have the coke sticker on it and will I get the mug at that time or do I need to have sticker applied when I get on ship? Thanks

I have purchased the soda card online for my son for our upcoming cruise and from what I understand he'll have a sticker on his Sea Pass card and the mug will be in the cabin upon our arrival.

You can also wait to purchase the soda card until you are onboard --- there is no benefit to doing it earlier. I suspect that if you choose this option, you'll get the sticker and mug at that time.

The sticker will be on the card when you receive it at the check-in desk. For some reason I think it is actually printed on the card and not a sticker. I'll find out this coming Friday when we board the Grandeur. I pre-ordered one for my son.

The souvenir mug is supposed to be waiting for you in your cabin. I liked doing it this way because it is one less thing to buy on embarkation day.

Thanks for getting back with me on this question. I also, like one less line to stand in when getting on and one less thing to carry while waiting to get in our staterooms. Thanks again.

Default coke or pepsi?

This raises a good question - is it Coke or Pepsi on the ships (Grandeur)? I'll definitely need a soda pass if it's coke; I'll pass on the pass if it's Pepsi!

They use coke products.

I know this is an older post, but can you get bottled water or ginger ale with the soda card? How does it work, do you just show your card, or do you have to have the mug with you to get it filled? Can you order soda from room service with it?

Thanks

No bottled water - strictly fountain pop. No room service with the sticker either. You have to go to one of the bars.

We (my wife and I and our five children) are heading out on the 4th of July for a Mexican Riviera cruise on the Mariner of the Seas. This will be my first experience with both children (ages 10-19) and soda cards. My wife and I are water drinkers.

Once the soda card is purchased, the room key has a sticker, and they've been given a mug, how does it work? I've read gratuities are added to the room card. I've also read that soda is not available through room service.

On the pool deck, if they go straight to the bar, do they avoid gratuities?

Does the soda card work in the dining room? Chops? What about soda at the buffet?

Do they have to have the mug with them to get soda?

Any help would be helpful.

The 15% gratuity is included in the original price of the card. You can either use the mug you receive or get the soda in a glass. You just need to show your card at the bar.

Take care,
Mike

Yes it works in all three---no you don't need the mug.

Steven, your coke card will work all over the ship. At the pool u can walk up to pool bar or have the waiter order u a coke/diet coke; show him your card and you will be good to go; same applies in the Windjammer; hand the waiter your card, they will see the sticker and bring you a coke; same applies to the theater and main dining room. any more questions; please ask.
Cheers
