Default Aft cabins on Radiance Class

Anyone have any experience with aft cabins on the Jewel? We have 2 center cabins reserved for a 1/11/10 cruise, and now I understand there could be obstructed views. Hope this wasn't a mistake!

Must have confused the classes since there is no outer obstruction on this class. Those cabins are GREAT!

Thanks, Robbie. That's a relief for sure, since we were really looking forward to enjoying these cabins!

Default Aft Cabins

We always try to book an aft cabin on Radiance class ships. Our two favorites are 9256 and 8168. They're both very quite - no hallway traffic - and the balconies are larger.

We have 9256 booked for three of our next five cruises.

The Radiance class aft cabins are wonderful, no metal beams to block the views. Unlike the Voyager and Freedom class, they however do, except for the corners.

You should love that cabin, enjoy! You still hav to walk mid-ship to catch the elevators and or the stairs, but its nothing terrible, good way to work off those extra calories you will consume.

Default My thoughts, exactly!

Thanks to all for the replies! I already had the idea that walking those extra steps would be a plus for us!! We try to take the stairs whenever we can for the same reason, but I must say each year it gets harder and harder.
We're really looking forward to having these cabins and now we have extra "incentive".

We had an aft on Navigator and it was horrible, very long walk and obstructed.

Had an aft on the Jewel and it was great, quiet, not too far to the elevator, it was great, enjoy.

On a recent cruise (Jewel), I heard a woman complaining that although she and her husband liked their aft cabin, it was a long way to walk to get to the fitness center.......
