Does anyone know where I can find some pictures of a Promenade Stateroom Bathroom. Or at least a detailed description.
My wife and I are trying to figure out how we are going to give our little ones a bath with now bath tub and our kids ( 3 & 5 ) are not fond of showers. We are on the FOTS in August.
Any help as to where we could find pictures would be helpful.
What type of cabin did you book? The type of cabin determines what the bathroom looks like.
inside, Ocean View, balcony, balcony suite.

Recently on the Mariner, our son had a balcony cabin with a shower only. He put a towel over the drain and filled the bottom of the shower a couple of inches to give our 7 month old GD a bath. We had a tub in our JS cabin but he never needed to use it. I think all the showers have hand held shower heads so that should make it a little easier to soap them up and rincse. Maybe bring one of those flat pieces of rubber used to open jars and lay it over the opening. Enjoy!
I too have a Promenade Cabin. I'll be on Liberty however Liberty and Freedom are sisters.
I'm cruising next week I'll take pictures of the cabin along with the bathroom and post them with my review.

We have a blow-up tub at home for our one year old. Here is a link to what it looks like. Not a bad idea actually, but it may be too small for a 5 year old.

A promenade stateroom is what some call atruim staterooms. Those are
staterooms that have windows that face the RP.
To the OP, We had one on the Mariner of the Seas. It is small, the bathroom, but even the balcony room bathrooms are small with showers. This is true of all the lines-except HAL and Disney do have tubs in their balcony rooms-other lines you would have to book a junior suite.
BTW, the atrium staterooms only sleep two people-did you book two with connecting doors?

My step daughter, her husband and their child booked a promenade stateroom on Freedom OTS during our last cruise, 3 in a cabin.
(how you can call these things staterooms at 160sf and not cabins is beyond me...)
The cruise line calls them staterooms. I did not think it was bad-the size-for 2 people. However, if our daughter had roomed with us, yes we would have wanted a larger room. she was with us, that cruise, but she shared with a friend.
Now once, we shared a 120 foot room with our daughter on Sovereign of the seas. Now, that was one dinky room. Our walk in closet at home was larger.
If you like large stateroom-HAL's older ships are good sized. Ironically, when we took our Alaska cruise-our pre-cruise hotel room was actually smaller than the room we had on HAL, and it was only an ocean view. I was amazed at how small a hotel room in a Howard Johnsons could be in Vancouver.
In England, we had dinky hotel rooms too, not as large as balcony staterooms. Probably, about equal to the 160 square feet of the atrium staterooms.

Ah Thank you so much. Learn something new every day.

Thanks for all the ideas. I am looking forward to the pictures.
And yes we did book two adjoining rooms.
I know my travel agent told me 3 could not have one of those type rooms. We wanted to try one of them out-and it was fun-especially watching the parade.
Our daughter went with us that cruise, but she roomed with a friend.

Not a problem Eddie! Enjoy your cruise I'm sure you will love it! Make sure your kids take part of the pirate parade. Alot of fun for the little ones and the adults like to watch.
Even though my kiddies are teens now and don't take part in the pirate parade I still like to watch the kids pirate parade. all the kids were having a blast!
Royal does do a wonderful job with the kiddies.
