Default WOW sale question

Hello,

I am looking for some advice from seasoned RCI cruisers. First is there any way of knowing if there will be a WOW sale this fall? Secondly what is the best Caribbean itenary for a single mom with a 15yr old daughter?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Personally I would reccomend the Eastern Carribean, St. Thomas, St. Marteen and either Nassau or Cococay. all of these islands are beautiful and you would not have to worry about the safety factor like you would in any of the Jamaica ports and Cozumel. We have done both Eastern and Western and would definately reccomend the Eastern regardless of your marital status or the ages of your children.

I agree with the Eastern. That is our personal favorite. I would also check with the timing of your cruise. You don't want to go when there are a ton of Spring Breakers or a cruise that has mostly retired people. We went on two cruises over Thanksgiving and there were a ton of kids that my kids met and had a blast with. We have also done two Spring Break cruises and that can a bit young for your daughter. We have also done one in January that had mostly retired people. WE had a BLAST on all of them. So check with RCCL on the timing and if they will have another WOW sale.

Seriously you will both have fun no matter when or where you go!!!

Also, check out a southern itinerary, which is my fave....will include 1 or 2 eastern islands, and some deep caribbean gems....leaves from San Juan, so check around for good rates for airfare....the best of both worlds to me

As with many things, timing IS everything! Just had folks book Alaska for some very nice last minute pricing on balconies. A week later more friends wanted to go and price had gone up. Two weeks later not a single category available when someone else called about that cruise. But having said that, if you are still not locked into one particular itinerary, the Caribbean is wide open for sales. Also remember that you can get price reductions after you book (in most cases). Even being in the business, I am pleasantly surprised at how many price reductions are "out there."

Sounds strange have had a couple of cruises where the price went down after paid in full and RC refunded the difference back on my credit card. Don't know if it was something to do with the way the TA paid, we usually book direct with RC online and have never had a problem with a price reduction being given to us.

I have never heard of that happening. I have always got any reductions after final payment from RCL for myself or my clients. Had you booked under some specific circumstances?

You are talking about RCL arn't you?

Edited to ask - the Tuesday was the weekly sale by any chance? If so, then no, they won't give you that reduction as it's for new bookings only.
