Default Shuttle service from Orlando airport to Port canaveral

Does anyone have any suggestions for shuttle/car service from Orlando to Port Canaveral that is affordable? There are 4 of us coming in September 19th for the sailing on the 20th and staying overnight in Port Canaveral at the Radisson. We are hoping for around 40 a piece round trip?

Thanks!

Kathy,

We are going in January and we will be renting a car. We have 5 in our group (Husband, me and our 3 kids). So we will be paying for the whole trip and decided that renting a car will be cheaper then the shuttles they have to offer(cruise and others) My understanding is that there are rental car places near the port and they will drop you off at the ship when you turn in the car and pick you up when the cruise is over.

Others will have more specifics but that is our plan for January.

Default Shuttle service

My husband and I are using Coco Beach shuttle for $ 115.00 round trip from Orlando to the port and then back to Orlando in September. THey have been very accomodating as our airline has changed our flights three times.
Great Cusotmer service
Thanks,
Debs

We have used Cocoa Beach Shuttle as well and were happy with them. Now we just rent a car from Budget and have more flexiblity. We can stop at WalMart or Target on the way down, go to dinner at Grills at the port or just drive around and see the area. It is just a very easy hour drive and their return location is the closest to the port and they offer free shuttle to the port. Have fun planning.

WOW,

I checked out the Shuttle, that is a great deal. I called them and their prices are for the whole group not per person. You can sign up on line to schedule your pick up. Our group for 5 would be $85.00. He said tips are optional. So, without tip it would be $17 per person.

Wow, $ 85.00 for the whole group that is a great price without all of the hassle to rent a car. Have a great time on your cruise.

so I got this right- 85.00 is round trip? Then it is 75.00 for my group of 4. I went on the website but will call to confirm.

ok FYI- the 85.00 is only one way. I got 133.00 round trip for our group of 4. (two are not taking shuttle to hotel and meeting friends). So it is still a good deal but a little more. By the way- renting a car, they sometimes add a drop off fee.

Yes, the $85 was for one way for 5 people, sorry. We paid $120 one way for a trip from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale last cruise so this sounds much better. Ft. Lauderdale and Miami are closer

Thanks,

We opted to do the Coco Beach shuttle too--but booked the town car for
85.00-- they added a 20 % gratuity--but we will be having two pick ups places at the airport and maybe ask to stop a a store before drop off--
its a few dollars more but we dont have to wait for a van to fill up----
Cheers
April
hope to meet you Kathy--and anyone else sailing on the Freedom on Sept 20 2009
